One Year After Radiation

PSA is shown in the plot attached. .7ng/mL this September. Testosterone is still moving around but above minimum range.

Radiation ended in September of 1997

Testosterone was back to normal in March 1998

Hip joint pain is now in the background though running is still hampered unless I am trying to catch a fly ball when intensity overcomes notice. Groin skin seems nearly normal, some minor itching bi-weekly.

Erections are good enough when needed. Not as hard as Pre-rad. but they work fine. A little more fore-play time is required, that's all. Love making is still a delight!

Anxiety is completely gone since mid March. Prozac was stopped in mid March. The anziety was a big deal for three months! I was a mess, almost quit work, saw a shrink during that time. (poem)

DRE's and lynph node checks all look good. Data I got before radiation from my Oncologist at Stanford indicates the T2b tumor post-radiation chemical recurrance rate is flat at 80%, but does not flatten until after 2.25 years from start of radiation. I still have about a year to go to feel like I'm clear.

Emotions seem very like pre-cancer at this point.

HEALTH INSURANCE

I can no longer get private health insurance without going to the California Major Risk Medical Insurance Plan (MRMIP).

916-324-4695 is the State phone number for the guide book. Health Insurance Cost is about $6300/yr for a couple.

Hope you are all doing well or dealing with the stages of cancer work well.
