Summary of the 8th Week after Radiation Treatments Stopped



After Radiation Stopped all side effects which for me were only of the minor type faded very slowly. They are now about half or a quarter of what they were immediately following radiation.

I. The Sunburned, dry groin feeling- which I treated with 100% Aloe Vera gel, vitamin E oil and a body oil alternately.

II. The Stiff leg muscle feeling that keeps me awake at night.

III. The overall dry skin feeling which body oil and drinking 4 or more tumblers of water seems to help.

IV. The stiff hip/pelvis joint feeling when standing up from a sitting position. This seems to be the main affect that has longevity in younger (50 year olds) men using 3D conformal radiation, my hip joints painfulness and sluggishness after radiation.

V. The hot flashes from the Testosterone suppression.

VI. The easy headache from drinking alcohol.

VII. Sexual function was slow during testosterone suppression but seems to be returning to normal (erections are fine), except seminal vesical damage eliminated ejaculate as predicted.

I never had the bowl problems some poeple encounter.

All in all conditions are great and only await time and PSA testing to make sure tumor was eliminated.
