immense presence, like waves,

Above all other
earthly noise,

unlike
cable car
shrieks.
Immense
like downpour
blotting,
absorbing all else.

Brace.
The cross at
harmony still,
three Christ-mas
trees below.

Only three of us,
a mirror;
two supplicants and
the pipe organist
washed
in majesty.

Wood warm pews,
luminous,
rainbow of glass,
staunch
column within
touch.

Couple,
front row,
she kneels
he stands,
apart.
Thou art, Thou art

Circle
and arch,
window
of rose,
mirror, arcs
ceiling;
high above.

Presence
Immense.
A sea
of the spirit.
Beyond words.
