Fear

Not knowing what
brought it on
that was also
a source of concern

Raised in a cause and effect
world where lost control
is a submarine diving for the bottom
or maybe it is the surface.

A slogging in the mind
A fist is on the chest
wandering lack of focus
'midst demands most intense

Body muscles tighten
human relations strained
hidden in ones office
fears at least contained.

Oddly all encompassing
this warfare of the mind
tell you now some antidotes
fears oppressions to tightly bind

Walk or read or be
outside in the air
just before arriving
interlude so fair.
