LARKMEAD 1984

Leaving,
activity and tumult behind
to acquiesce with our guide of time
Bed and Breakfast Inns tranquility
sets me upon the road to rhyme.

In this country peace we
have time to pick over
the earthen fields of our lives
Looking at this and that clod
in ways we have not seen before
discovering new things to do
and old ones undone,
mixing thoughts and needs
into better done deeds of tomorrow.
